Liddell - Shogun Outcome

so where is chuck sitting if he beats shogun?
and where would Shogun be sitting if he beat chuck?

i a personally routing for chuck because he deserves it more. but i feel if chuck looses that might just really slow up his career. i don't want chuck to lose and then Dana give him an **easy fight** so he just gets a win.

give me your thoughts..

i think a win for either puts them back in the picture but still two fights from a title shot

Agreed. Perhaps 3 for Shogun.

I think both need at least another 2-3 wins depending on their performance before they challenge for the title.

Winner fights Forrest or Frankin.

Looser fights Jardine or Vera.

Something like that.

Right kick, Hospital.
Left kick, Cemetery.

I don't think a win here puts either of them in the title picture yet. They would still need a couple of more wins.

I hope if Chuck wins he'll fight Forrest, that would be a great fight. If Shogun wins I would not mind seeing him against Vera, but I don't think either is anywhere near the title picture since if they win they beat someone who has looked horrible lately. If Chuck looses to someone like Rua he should retire, and if Shogun loses he needs to leave the UFC so he can get some fights against some lower level opponents.

Um. I think both guys are EXTREMELY good. I don't care how they've looked recently, neither one of them wants to lose this fight. It bothers me when people expect chuck to retire if he loses to shogun, for all we know both guys could come in and be very impressive. Shouldn't people like to watch mma icons fight? Anyway, I think the winner goes on to fight forrest, but he's fighting Thiago at ufc 101 I think, so the timing wouldnt work..

I'd say: Chuck wins = Jardine Revenge
Shogun wins= Vera! that would just be cool.

I see the totem pole sort of like this

Shogun - Chuck

Vera - Jardine

so either fighter is going to have to move all the way up that totem pole (or down in this case, totem pole really is a bad analogy)

If Chuck loses he's probably gonna be end up fighting Mark Kerr or Minowaman at some local independent show. Seriously if Chuck loses it's more than likely over, but I need my main man Shogun to win this fight! Damn I love Chuck though....really tough choice.
