Alessio Sakara Suddenly drops?!?

Busy writing PBP for this forum, I didn't get the greatest shot at what went down with Alessio Sakara. Keep in my mind I was watching from a stream. I know that the "knockout" punch DIDN'T LAND. I know that for a fact. However before he did drop, Sakara was hit with a hook/uppercut combo. Is it just the fatigue factor? What do you think happened here?

I'll be interested to find out what happened as well. Sakara had dude up against the fence and was just throwing BOMBS to the head and body, and McFedries responded with an uppercut when Sakara ducked his head, then a pretty f'n stiff body shot. I don't know if Alessio sustained an internal injury, or was just flat out of gas.

Once he went down though, Drew capitalized and unloaded on Sakara until the ref had seen enough.

Weird situation there.

Looked like a delayed KO to me. Sakara was hit with monster uppercut and then his opponent missed his next 2-3 punches and after that Sakara just dropped. At first it looked weird, like he must've gotten hurt or something, but on the replay you can clearly see him get hit with a huge uppercut which finished him.

I was pretty sure that he dropped as a "delayed" result from that hefty upper cut McFerdries threw. I think it hurt him bad and he was fatigued so he dropped to the mat. Just my take on it.

The Uppercut landed about 5 seconds before he dropped. I don't know, I am guessing It was fatigue, because both fighters ate a lot of punches.

I was drinking a lot so I'm not sure what the hell happened. It looked like he took a few shots, thought about it, then hit the deck.

Either you're rocked or you're not, right? Almost like that Liddell/Vernon White fight where Liddell hit him with a seemingly grazing shot but Whtie whipped his head back and crumped to the mat.

Mabye Sakara had just had enough.

sometimes when a fighter gets hurt by a shot there is a delayed reaction, and takes a second to feel the effect of the shot.

I dont belive theres fixes in the UFC at all but if there was one tonight it would have to be on this fight. Werid how he just dropped. I HIGHLY DOUBT IT was fixed but its something to think about.

Forum Bets: 0-0(Still undefeated)

I don't fight MMA but one time I took a knee to the head in a rugby match and stood up for 20 seconds completely useless with vertigo and tunnel vision and then just fell. With as many hard shots each of them sustained in that fight it had to have been a delayed KO.
