Yellow Card Rule

I think they need to introduce the yellow card rule in the UFC like they have it in Pride FC. The yellow card keeps the fights from ending up like the 5th round of Sylvia and Monson (yawn). Big John had to tell them to start fighting instead of walking around in circles. Now correct me if im wrong If a fighter in Pride receives a yellow card in PrideFC they lose a precentage of their fight winings.
I just believe that this would press the action more rather than watching to slow slugs circle eachother.

I was sying the same exact thing last night while watching sylvia and munson do a bad version of the cha cha cha, but seriously Ive never seen 2 fighters avoid a fight like these 2 clowns.Dont get me wrong I think munson did every thing possible to take down the giant but sylvia is just a very bad champ , I hope brandon very destroyes him and brings back some excitment to the heavyweight division

It would be nice to have a yellow card rule in the UFC. Some of these fights can get boring - Sylvia vs. Monson for example - fight to win, not to "not lose". I used to dislike the yellow card rule, but maybe they should give it a test run. The NSAC prohibits docking the fighter's pay, so maybe the card can just take away a point or something.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Putting this in place would really make some fights a lot more exciting. Dana looked pretty pissed after the tim/monson fight, had this rule been in place we "may" have seen a tko victory in the 5th. I am in favour of anything that would prevent something like severn/shamrock II happening again

Q: He(Wanderlei Silva) said he's really looking forward to fight you in the finals.

A: (Mirko CroCop) Thats his problem.

Something needs to be done or attempted to try and curb the boos. Tim just needed a little motivation at the end that fight. I mean, Monson was so drained he could hardly move in the last round; Tim could have easily KO'd him. Give Tim a yellow card which docks a point and let him start to fear a decision which gets him swinging and the crowd cheering as opposed to booing.

I think thats an awesome idea. With the sraps the fighters are paid anyway, the yellow card would definitely light a fire cracker under there a$$'s. Can you imagine if they had it now. That f-tart Sylvia would be fighting for free!!!!
