Did Sylvia show us he's no joke on the ground?

I actually was impressed with Tim Sylvia and Jeff Monson last night. We don't get to see a lot of Sylvia's ground game but I thought he did very well against a very strong and experienced Monson. The attempted chokes, leg triangles ... for everyone that hates the Maniac, he showed something last night

I don't think he looked that impressive on the ground at all, he looked better than I thought he would look, he was far from a master grappler. He just used his size to his advantge. He did get a few armbar attempts and triangle attempts in though, which was impressive against a submission wrestler.

I just hope he gets KTFO soon so we don't have to look at him anymore.

Well, if that rumour is true and they bring in Fedor's brother, suddenly with Aleksander Emelianenko and Brandon Vera, it looks pretty exciting
