Why do people question Liddell's cardio/ability to go 5 rounds?

I don't get it, I honestly don't. Everyone thinks Chuck Liddell can't go 5 full rounds with Tito Ortiz. I'm not saying Chuck has better cardio than Tito Ortiz, but Liddell has gone more than 25 minutes in his career. According to Sherdog, in 1998 he went 30 minutes with Jose "Pele" Landi-Jons, a very dangerous fighter who has knocked out Matt Hughes. Liddell defeated Pele by Decision. Chuck Liddell has won 6 out of 6 decisions in his career, and Tito Ortiz has won 5 out of 6 in his. When Liddell went 30 minutes with Pele, this was before Tito was known for his cardio. Tito became known for his cardio after his loss to Frank Shamrock.

So what does everyone think? Sorry if the threa doesn't make sense to some, I'm just trying to say that Liddell can go 5 rounds with Tito.

Jeremy Horn also took him for a few rounds and Lidell was still fresh

Thanks, theres another point I forgot. Chuck Liddell was just punching the living daylights out of Jeremy Horn for 4 rounds and still wasn't tired.

They question it because his cardio is good, but is it really good enough to keep up with Tito's pace he sets if they go 5 rounds?

He was still looking good after 3 rounds with Vitor Belfort too, the question should be can Tito go up against Liddell's striking?

Well first of all you can't take into consideration what someone did in 1998 lol, that was 8 years ago.

So no one has seen anything that shows he can go.
In his last what? 10 fights the furthest he has gone is 4 with Jeremy Horn.

I see the point your trying to make, but I have honestly never seen anyone say Chuck has bad cardio. Even if someone ever has, it was probley some retard who think Jason Thacker will beat Anderson Silva at UFC 70.

Chucks cardio is questioned because hes coming up for 37 next month he definatly tires himself out with all the punches being thrown. Its just he usually doesnt have to go 5 rounds.
