Mir gets owned by Vera

..My friends and I all agreed on this 1. If Frank did the stand up...KO for Vera. WOW. Brandon "The Truth" Vera was awesome. His stand up game is outstanding. uh oh..Will Vera go after Chuck's Title?...only time will tell.

I respect Mir for fighting Vera but why fight him at the stage Mir is at presently?, Mir all due respect has been poor in his last 2 outings and should have been built up to fight at Veras level not just fed to the sharks.
The matchmaker has a lot to answer for really, they dont need to boost Veras bankability and wont do with Mir the way he is at the moment, Mir well stood helluva a lot to gain credability wise with a win but how realistic was it?

not silly.. although there are other threads on it he pointed out some different stuff.. it is said that Vera is supposibly calling out chuck liddell.. and if he does i think he will actually have a good chance at winning

the thing is.. i HIGHLY doubt Lidell would ever try to go up to heavyweight... but Vera may cut weight to fight at LHW..

would be nice to see chuck go up a class for once.. hes already proved nobody can really **** with him @ LHW so why not move up... LOTS of fighters make this transaction... look @ Wanderlei.. nobody left in middleweight so he started fighting ppl along the likes of Mark Hunt, Cro Cop (Bad example), etc..

Very silly post seeing how they all but said Vera is going to get a HW title shot. No sense in dropping to LHW when you're doing so well in HW.

According to the commentators in one of Vera's fights, he did call out The Iceman. They also said that Vera wanted to be the first guy to hold titles at HW and LHW at the same time. I guess that's one way to make a statement and get people to pay attention to him. Vera's on the small side for a HW and he's not ripped like Arlovski for example, so he shouldn't have too much trouble cutting down to LHW.

Off course you knew. If your favorite fighter win you always know it before it happens, Makes you look a little better in the eyes of others
