I've always been a Sylvia fan for some reason. I don't know how well he'll do against Vera, but it'll probably be the best heavyweight fight we've seen in a while.

For some of you that have seen me on here, I hope you know that I am not a bandwagoneer, but let me start by saying I have liked Vera since the first fight I saw him in. So I knew he would take out Mir and keep going strong.

I think Vera can get it done. Sylvia does not impress me at all. However, I think maybe they will give Vera a shot at Arlovski first before they put him up against Sylvia... but who knows?

Arlovski fights somebody next month. Vera will have another fight at a minimum before he gets his shot. Other than Vera, I don't see anybody else going against Sylvia, the HW division is lacking. Unless somebody lights a fire under Cheik Kongo's ass again since he didn't do much his last fight, and I thought HE was going to be the next big contender.

I'm with ya on that. I've liked Vera ever since I say him first fight in the UFC. IMO he will be champ someday. Him and Sylvia would be a good fight but Vera would win. Or if he drops to LHW him and Chuck would be a nice one also. Too close to call but I think Vera might take that one too
