Its OK for fans to cheer for "their guy".

What else is more natural than to have a favourite and cheer for him? I like a lively crowd, it makes the overall impression of the fight more intense.

The boing was on the other hand not OK imo.

Everybody should cheer for their favourite without being disrespectful to their favourite's opponent.

Fun trivia: In danish "kamp" means "match" or "fight". So Martin Kampmann really lives up to his name.

I think that's because in Canada if you want to watch UFC, you really have to go out of your way, you have to be a real fan. In the US it's easier to access UFC based television shows such as on Spike TV. If you want Spike in Canada you have to have a satelite or a special service provider. I live in GSP's hometown and I have not met more than one or two people that actually know who he is.
You live in Montreal??? I heard Dana say at the post-fight interviews that there comin to Montreal next summer with GSP on the card, possibly the rematch with Hughes. If that goes down I'll be making the trip up from Toronto for that one.
