Rashad Gets His Revenge On Hughes

Rashad Evans is probably doing a few backflips of his own since Matt's humiliating loss. On Ultimate Fighter, recall that Hughes bad mouthed Rashad for showboating a bit and said to him "I'm glad you're not on my team". Also, he tried to sick his friend, Mike Whitehead, on him in the next match to have him eliminated (which ended up with Whitehead losing and crying under a towel). While the two tried to patch things up there remained a tension there. Rashad was apparently really happy to help GSP train and went to Canada to be part of his training team since both Rashad and Hughes are excellent wrestlers.

I had forgot about all of that...pretty funny. I would think it would be even tougher for GSP to wrestle with Rashad because he is so much bigger than Matt and has basically the same amount of wrestling skill. Shows how it can come back to bite you if you act like an ass.

I didn't know Rashad trained with GSP! Where did you here this?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

They talked about it during the PPV. He trained with Rashad, Marquardt and a few others.

It was good to see Matt get brought back to reality.

Yeah, it's just better to be a bit more humble, then you have all these guys ganging up on you, working together, waiting for you to fall. I was very impressed with GSP's training schedule, the guy was doing everything right to win
