everyone's pulling for Silva. I'm going Forrest. He's kind of the underdog. But I think he's got something to bring to the table.

I think Forest definitely has a chance against Silva, he brings something to the table that I don't think Anderson has fought yet. He trains at Extreme Couture so he's going to have a decent game plan, but all in all I just don't think Forrest will win.
Some people are saying Forrest should take Anderson to the ground, but does Forrest really want to take him to the ground? Anderson's black belt in BJJ will surely be a factor in Forest's game plan. If anything I think he'll fight a similar fight as he did with Rampage, I think he'll circle and look to connect with the jab and leg kicks. Maybe if he injures Silva he'll take him to the ground and look to finish, but somehow I doubt it. The ground is a dangerous place for anyone who fights Silva.

If Forrest wins, how long befor the casual MMA fans start calling for FORREST vs FEDOR. Does this fight hurt forrest much if he gets beat?

I see him being tougher of the two, having been in wars.
Silva has not looked impressive in his last two fights, not going for the kill and avoiding putting hard pressure on.
It's going to be a good fight, for sure.

Surely taking anderson down is dangerous, but isn't it more dangerous to stand with him. I think anderson has the best stand up in all of mma. Also, I think Forrest is good enough to not get subbed or maybe even pass to half guard or better. So basically even though taking him down is dangerous, it is still safer than standing.

I've got Forrest by decision, he has the size and strength to control Anderson but he certainly wouldn't be able to knock Anderson out.

Forrest will get beat up in the clinch or standing, if he were to be competitive at all it would be on the ground, but we've seen Anderson submitt and GNP people too. I can't really see Forrest winning this fight. He might gain some respect if he makes a good showing though.
