A, Silva vs. Forrest

Who wins and how?
I am picking Anderson but I'm nut sure if it will be by decision or tko. I think Anderson is better than Forrest in all aspects not sure about wrestling. If Forrest is smart then he should try to take this fight to the ground and pound him out. What do you all think

Yeah I definitely agree with you. Forrest won't be able to stay outside and pick Silva apart with little jabs and leg kicks like he did versus Rampage. His only chance is if he wears Silva down by taking him down, maybe wearing him down in the clinch first, and working his GnP/passing game.

Forrest has an excellent top game if you think about it, he made Rampage look like a white belt in Rd. 2, and made Shogun look really bad as well.

What a stud

I see Forrest winning via decision.

I think he can stay on the outside long enough, as well as being big enough and strong enough in the clinch to avoid most of Anderson's damage. He could also take Anderson down possibly, where he has good control/strength advantage.

I see him being tougher of the two, having been in wars.

Silva has not looked impressive in his last two fights, not going for the kill and avoiding putting hard pressure on.

It's going to be a good fight, for sure.

I took Forrest by decision cuz hes my boy. Obviously Anderson is the best in the world but I think Forrest can pull of the upset and not cuz of Andersons last 2 fights because they actually made me believe in him more because he was able to completely toy with his opponents and not get touched so... I just think Forrest can do it.

Anderson Silva by decision.
It'll be a great fight for sure, but i think Silva is just far too talented and precise at striking for Griffin to handle him. Griffin is a bit overrated while Silva is a truly elite master.
However, i cant see Silva knocking out Forrest simply because Forrest is very tough and has a good chin and Silva is smaller than him.

I love forrest but I think we'll see Anderson in top form looking to destroy his opponent.

Anderson TKO 3rd.

man i hate to choose on this fight, but if i had to, i'd have to go with anderson. forrest is a fighter that isn't gonna back down so he might just stand toe to toe with silva which will allow silva to probably knock him out.

someone once asked me when we talk about PrideFC why we never put
"the" in front of it, i asked him, "do you put the word 'the' in front of God?"

Well it just seems to me that Forrest is like King of the 3 rounders and I think the size and strength factors will definitly be on his side aswell as just being a smart fighter. I think he can push this and take a 3 rounder but if it were 5 rounds i think Anderson would undoubtedly take this one. But im going out of a limb with Forrest via decision.

Top 7 Favorite Fighters at the moment

1. Forrest Griffin
2. Clay Guida
3. Shane Carwin
4. Jon Fitch
5. Chuck Liddell
6. Wanderlei Silva
7. Chris Leben

Anderson has speed, power, great technical ability, experience, a great underused BJJ game.
Griffin has not got great power for a LHW, he is a come forward fighter so great for a counter striker e.g Silva YET........
For some reason i see Griffin pulling this one out of the bag via RNC

Stefan Struve
Donald Cerrone
Glover Texiera
Cub Swanson
Kim Dong - Hyun.
