I posted a thread about this earlier...I think that its definetly good for the UFC from a marketablility standpoint, but Im sure Diego will be ready for his title shot after Riggs...and deservedly so. Hes won a lot of fights and shouldnt have to fight the ex-champ to get a shot at GSP. Maybe Karo next for Hughes?

One of your words has a space in it...
Edit: Nevermind maybe it's just on my computer?
I'd love to see Deigo vs. Hughes, or Karo vs. Hughes. Both would make for exciting fights.

I think Diego should face GSP after GSP decimates Serra. Diego deserves a title shot(Regardless of what some people may think), because he has defeated 2 top 10(Karo being a top 5 at the time) WW's. Penn had his shot, and lost. Hughes lost the belt. GSP is a horrible matchup for Diego, but I think it'd be a fun fight, and it'd probably go the distance seeing as Diego is like the Energizer Bunny.
Diego fighting Riggs is such a huge step down. Nothing against Riggs, because I like him(Though he's very inconsistent), but what is the point? I mean yea, it's nice for Diego to have a tune up fight, but what if Riggs wins? Does he get a title show now?

There are a lot of match-ups I'd love to see in that division.
I say give Diego the title shot.
Have Hughes and BJ Penn 3 for the #1 contender after that.
Doesn't really matter. Any mix will be good )

Diego vs. Hughes would definitly be an interesting match-up! Of course, Karo should get a shot at Hughes considering he was suppose to fight him for the title instead of Joe Riggs! Either one would be a good match-up!

Riggs has been indeed been inconsistent and Im guessing this is Dana giving him one last shot at proving himself...and if Diego cant beat Riggs than he doesnt deserve a title shot. There are not many people that think Diego can beat GSP anyway. Perhaps Dana knows this and keeps feeding Diego to different fighters for this reason? Just a thought...

Diego deserves the title shot next without Riggs. Having to fight Riggs at all was an insult. Riggs has been losing, Diego winning. It was a space filler for Diego with the TUF 4 guys getting in the way of true contenders.

Boy, you said it...I still haven't figured this one out yet, the UFC puts people in title fights sometimes out of the blue but yet Diego has been winning and he's always put to the back of the line...
