Wow, I'm not really on any kind of Anderson Silva bandwagon and have long been saying that UFC fighters will start fighting smarter against Silva and not playing into his strenghts. I just don't think Travis is the man to beat him, and it looks like you agree, so I'm not on any moreof a bandwagon than you, bro. A lot of people are saying "If Lutter gets him down...", don't forget Anderson is a BJJ black belt. This is a much safer place for most fighters against Silva true, but I think Lutter may have serious difficulties getting him down. He knows Travis' game plan and will be ready for him. I think Lutter will go down first because he will face a ferocious onslaught of punches and kicks from Silva. Then again, so will Serra .. I just think if Serra can trap GSP against the cage it will go slightly longer

He will not stand up with Silva. He is going to take it to the ground quick and it will be a long drawn out battle. The only way it would end quick is if Lutter can't take him down and is forced to take punishment trying to get inside.

True ... if Lutter gets him down he could make a game of it, but like I said, I think Anderson is smart enough to realize the game plan and when you see that even Jeremy Horn couldn't submit Silva after a long drawn out battle, you start to get the sense that this is going to be really difficult for Lutter

He knows exactly what Lutter is going to do. It's no secret. Remember before he fought Cote, he told him, "I'm going to take you down and try to submit you." Cote knew this and spent his training on TD defense, but Lutter was just too strong and took him down. Point is, Anderson knows what's coming... let's see how he does.
