If you think this fight is gonna be easy for Sylvia, you haven't seen Brandon Vera fight.
Frank Mir, although in much better form at the time, beat Sylvia. Now, did you see what Vera did to Mir? Probably not.
Brandon Vera has a great chance at beating Sylvia, whenever the fight goes down.

Ive seen EVERY sylvia fight in the UFC, and hes at the same level now as he was way back when. Yes hes a tough as nails dude, but Vera is way to dynamic for him, i think hes gonna have his hands full! sylvias fight with monson was a joke, although that had more to do with match-ups, but sylvia got the stand up he wanted with monson and still didnt know him out!?! Vera will push the pase and overwhelm sylvia with blows, just my opinion but i dont think im alone on this one?

Vera MIGHT be able to take Sylvia but i still dont think hes proven himself enough to get a title shot, Frank Mir isn't what he used to be so that win wasn't proving himself enough, although it was impressive. I say put him up against Andrei Arlovski or Jeff Monson or whatever and if he wins give him the shot.

Well it is posted on the rumors section on mmaweekly.com, plus what Tim said after beating Monson I am sure they will fight. I think Vera can give him a good run for his money and if not, hopefully AA comes back and kicks the shit out of him...
