Who is next in line for Sean Sherk?
I think that the LW division is one of the best divisions in the UFC they have great agility speed and power. So here is who I think deserves a title shot in the near future.
1. Joe Stevenson
2. Hermes FRanca
3. Mark Hominick (2-0 in the ufc with wins over Edwards and Gurgel)
4. Jens Pulver (needs atleast one more fight)
5. JOe Lauzon (after beating pulver it put him up there in the ranks)
6. Spencer Fisher (needs to fight some top fighter before moving up)
Let me all know what you think?

Joe Stevenson or Joe Lauzon should get the first title shot against Sean Sherk. Joe has two very impressive wins recently and Joe Lauzon beat the former only UFC Lightweight champion.

Hard to say. Hopefully Penn, though I'd like to see him fight Din Thomas.

Oh I thought you were joking when you put that up there.
They gave Kenny Florian a shot lol
The King has 19 wins, 4 in the UFC... Look up his record, he has beat some pretty good people.

Stevenson maybe, Louzon did nothing but catch someone with a lucky punch. A win is a win, I am not trying to take that away from him, but that doesn't earn a title shot.

Yeah but also think of hominick who beat Yves Edwards the last UFC champ I still think he needs more fights. I would like to see hominick stevenson fight for a titile shot.

I see this being decided over two events, and Joe Lauzon definitely isn't a factor.
First fight: Penn v Stevenson. I think that this would set the tone, because they are both immensly talented. I see BJ beating Joe pretty easily, but I tend to underestimate Joe Stevenson.
Second fight: Guillard v Fisher. I like both of these guys and this is going to be a war on the feet. I really do like Fisher, but Guillard is just incredible. He's definitely improving from every fight, and he's training with Team Punishment, so he's going to a force.
The final contenders match: I see this as Penn v Guillard, and I think that this is going to be a war. Both of them have great striking skills. Penn probably has the best chin in the lightweight division and Guillard definitely has the most power. (both of these are besides Sherk) I have no clue who would win this, but it's be worth watching, even as a main event.
