good thing u put probably in bold
ive hearb a bit more than the UFN fight he was on, a friend of mine was at an event (MFC or something like that) a few months ago, and apparently he finished the fight pretty quick on the ground. I then checked his record and who hes fought, and although there almost all "unknown" fighters, u know hes a veteran ground fighter, and hes been tko'd twice, 1 of them being 200 pounds guy.
Anyways, for those who think leben can survive on the ground, im not saying its impossible, but that guy is solid on the ground. The best leben can do is probably be able to stand back up.
Sure, Leben is very though, and thats the only reason hes still in the ufc. the so called "unorthodox style" is basicly walking forward hands down, and wait to counter with a big one. If Macdonald is smart, he can use his reach(i dont know his arm length, but hes 6 3..) to jab and create that distance.. apparently Macdonald is not bad standing up either, but i havent seen it from my own eyes. I hope the leben fans at least realise hes an underdog.
You know what i hope this fight will be? one where leben is on the bottom, and he gets completly technically controlled by Macdonald, then goes crying about it just like in the first season. Or if gets KO, that would be hilarious, just like against silva.
i give macdonald a 60/40 favorite, because i have to consider "the never give up" to leben, and his striking power.
