Yeah but Bj really should be at WW I think, Sherk should step up to WW one fight and go with him.
All he would have to do is cut a little less than he did for KenFlo

I definatly think BJ would win this fight. Sherks style is identical to Hughes. He's pretty much a mini Hughes and we all know how bad Hughes' style matches up with BJs.

"Not a chance in hell Sherk would win, he is a cheaper version of Matt Hughes, he will do well at 155 just because he will be so much stronger than the other LW's, but Bj would work him over."

my thoughts exactly

It would be the same as Penn .vs. Pulver at UFC 35. Penn will beat him for the first two, Sherk doesn't die that easy however and is a cardio king. Then he would start to destroy Penn in the other three rounds since Penn has bad stamina. Sherk by unanimous decision.

Where did this logic come from? The comparison is way off...

How? I believe it will be the same how Penn was beating Pulver in the first two rounds then Sherk is a stamina king, Penn is not. Pulver began to dominate Penn at round 3. I believe Sherk would too.

Here's how I see the outlook of this fight:

Groundpounder v Submission master

Strength advantage: Sherk (obviously)

Cardio advantaget: BJ (I think that if he drops down to 155 his cardio will be great, but it's still pretty close)

Striking: BJ (easily, faster hands, heavier hands and the better chin)

On the ground: Sherk ends up on top, in the guard of BJ. This isn't a good position for Sherk. Let's face it, for Sherk being in BJ's guard is just as bad (if not worse) that being in a standup position with BJ.

Standing: I see BJ stuffing alot of takedowns and feeding Sherk some mean knees and hands, a la his fight with Din Thomas. Obviously, Sherk has a better chin than Thomas, but that isn't really going to matter.

On the ground: I see this staying in BJ's guard and BJ submitting Sherk via a triangle, armbar or omoplata, all three of which are some of BJ's very good submissions.

I like Sherk, I just don't see how he can win this fight.

I have respect for Sherk, but he won't be able to throw BJ around like he did Kenny.

I see BJ throwing Sherk around.

If BJ drops down that is.
