What bothers me most about his most recent fight are his hands. By that I don't mean his striking, but the shakiness of them. He used to be so smooth and stalked down everyone. Now his hands are shaky as shit (I realize it can be used for breaking timing and stuff) but it just doesn't feel like Cro Cop used to.

is no one paying any attention to there being no mention of crop cop anywhere? mustapha al turk isnt listed as fighting on ufc 99 as per ufc.com, no mention of crop cop. nothing other than crop cops word as per his site.

i wonder if the fight has been pushed back to a later date to promote it properly...or is this is all just b.s.?

Top 5 fav. fighters (in order)

1. GSP
2. Franklin
3. Lesnar
4. Forrest

Well Joe Rogan did say the return of Cro Cop during FC 98 while doing the 99 add, but you do have a point they dont even have Mirko listed as a part of the UFC.

In my opinion I think the UFC still wants to market Mirko so they are being hush hush about it incase he losses the fight. They just kinda want him to get a win in the UFC and get some confidence going then market him etc etc. My bet is that if he wins his fight it will be used as a filler and if he losses it won't be shown.

That's my theory but their is a chance that this is all just BS. That would just be cruel im really excited about this.

Cro Cops doing everything right. His wrestling and his boxing are exactly what he should be working on.

He says since the gonzaga fight that he works his boxing so Iam not convinced. Defeating mustafa wont say much.

The biggest thing he's lost is the intimidation factor. In Pride a lot of people were so intimidated by his kicks that they unwittingly fell right into his game.

He's a small heavyweight and his style fits a ring and not a cage. In the UFC fights aren't stood up nearly as fast and that will cost him. I'm a big Cro Cop fan but he is a Pride fighter IMO.

On InsideMMA this week, Todd Duffee claims that HE is still scheduled to face mustafa at ufc99. He says the only source of crocops return was crocops blog. So even though this has been reported on basically every mma podcast or news show, it still isnt concrete. I hope it secretly is though.

What if Cro Cop went down to 205?? I kinda agree that he is better suited for a ring rather then a cage. There is just to much space and room for movement in the octagon.

I don't know even if Cro Cop doesn't become champ I would atleast like to see him get a few wins and one more left high kick KO.
