Bisping talks about his Fight with Hendo and says he will out wrestle him

Bisping said: "I tried winding Dan up on the show a bit and I think I got to him a bit more than he let on.

"He's been around a long time and he's fought a who's who of MMA but I'm looking forward to fighting him.

"I've been playing the UFC 2009 Undisputed game as myself against him as part of my mental preparation and I've been knocking him out on a regular basis.

"I've been there, seen it and done it a thousand times and I'm sure when the night comes it will be no different.

"I think I'll out strike him, I'll out-wrestle him, my jiu-jitsu's better than his and I'll outwork him.

"I will do everything better than him when it comes to fight time.

"I'm 100 per cent confident. I've got a fantastic camp going on at the Wolfslair.

"I've got a bunch of very high calibre wrestlers in to train with and none of them are getting me down.

"I'm looking forward to the fight and the show as a whole."

Got it form nodq.com, its an interview from the sun newspaper (biggest selling newspaper in the u.k)

I personally think he will win this fight, i think he will out work him and Hendo wont be able to hold him down. I dont think he will out wrestle him but i think hes good enough not to eat hendos lethal hay makers, so if he can use his range affective i see him winning a ud

Yeah he's just saying this. If he was honest (which wouldn't be very smart) he'd say, I'm going to keep my distance score some points with light punches, and try to avoid his attacks, and avoid the clinch. Essentially just like his fight with Leben.

He's got a chance purely based on Cockyness, but Henderson will likely take it. IMO

I think Bisping has a good chance. I just hope it's more than a series of takedowns. I don't really want to see a Dan Henderson wrestling workshop. Henderson is obviously a very tough opponent - alongside Rashad, perhaps the toughest that Bisping has faced - I just think Bisping's strikes may allow him to avoid the clinch and takedowns etc.

I'm biased - I'm English - I hope Bisping wins!

The only way for Bisping to outwrestle Hendo is to keep playing UFC Undisputed.
He has a chance of beating Hendo, but his cockiness is starting to annoy me. How da hell are you gonna outwrestle a two-time Olympian?
I can't wait for this fight.

While I don't think Bisping will outwrestle Hendo, look at GSP. He never wrestled competively, but has now out-MMA wrestled all-americans, Josh Koscheck, Matt Hughes, and John Fitch.

I agree, Leben did not bring the ground game Dan has. Also it would be pretty dumb to say he could KO Henderson. Bispings only hope is a decision..Imo

Well hendo is yet to finish a fight since he got into the UFC, that being said he seems to get decisions more often than TKO's so i wouldnt be suprised at all to see it go the full 15. If bisping is thinking of trying to outscore hendo his plan may backfire.

The GSP example crossed my mind, but after consideration I figured out that it isn't quite the same thing. GSP is bigger than all of those wrestlers and although not competing before MMA, he did train in wrestling unlike Bisping. Plus Hendo is olympic level, that's a big step up compared to collegiate wrestling.
