Rampage Ducks Machida?
 

After Lyoto Machida’s second round dismantling of Rashad Evans at UFC 98, it seemed evident that Quinton Jackson would be Lyoto’s next opponent. They were even rumored to be coaching against each other on the next (tenth) season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show, on the Spike television network. This rumor fell apart as Dana White announced that his next coaches would be Jackson and Evans. This begs the question as to why Quinton would give up a title shot against Machida simply to avenge some smack talking from Rashad Evans.

I think this is a reach. Rampage wants to beat Rashad belt or no belt he knows he gets his revenge and will have beat all of greg jacksons best 205 guys.

Yeah I agree. I don't believe Rampage is ducking anyone, he simply is to focused on doing movies and that isn't a good things for his fans like me.

Especially since he knew he was getting the A Team roll back in July......

He's looking at his life from a smart perspective. The guy wants to act so let him act..

yeah i dont think he was ducking machida at all. he has fought some very big fights. he fought hendo, jardine, forrest, chuck liddell 2 times, and he fought wand 3 times.

now none of them are as big of a challenge as machida would be but i doubt he is ducking anyone.

ramapge made pretty clear in his blog post that he wanted a shot at machida before evans and that he wasn't given one. White never disputed this.

After the two horrible beatings Rampage took against Wanderlei Silva he was courageous enough to step in against him a third time. Why would he be "ducking" a fighter he has never fought before????????
