Joe Lauzon vs. Tim Sylvia

Now I know what most of you are thinking! You must think this has got to be the stupiest FK'n thread on this forum so far? Why is Bonnar426 being a moron by suggesting that Joe Lauzon get slaughtered by a guy who weighs 100 pds more then him? I just figured it would be fun to imagine such an insane match-up! Its that simple! I'm tired of being serious and I want to do something stupid! So here it is!

So if this match were to happen what would Joe Lauzon have to do to beat Tim Sylvia?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

joe would have to just focus on tims lead leg. inside leg kicks. out side leg kicks, punchs, elbows all to the one lead leg. he would have to throw a kick circle away, move back in elbow the leg , circle away. maybe by round 3 tim cant walk on it anymore, and in round 4 tims leg finally buckles, joe doesnt go for the kill on the ground he makes tim stand up . joe contiunes to attack the leg. in round 5 tims leg buckles for the last time and he can no longer stand on it. this is the only possible strategy i can come up with. its what i would do. if it doesnt work, maybe you went five rounds with the the hw champ and won a boring decision. nothing to be ashamed of for a 155 lb guy. or if you were getting caught with shots the whole fight, maybe you lose a razor thin decision to the hw champ. still nothing to cry about.
