Im sure Rogers could do okay against some of the ufc heavyweights, but you have to be pretty well rounded to hang with the top guys nowadays. But who knows, he could have gread tdd and a top knotch guard, i have not seen him on the ground yet (i have also only seen like two of his fights).
I'm in the same place. He may have the best HW hands in mma. And the dude is big and may be difficult to take down. A sub guy may struggle with him if he's not a takedown artist. But Lesner, Valasquez, Carwin and even Randy will likely turn it into a clinch/ground match. But I have a feeling he's going to surprise some folks in the UFC. A also think he'd be a nightmare for most small HW's outside the UFC-even Fedor.

He seems to have a solid record - why so much hate in this thread?

You can't possibly think he's up with the best....yeah he knocked out Arlovski, but he hasn't been himself since he lost again Fedor. To be honest, he was always a stand up fighter, but Timmy against Rogers (Rodgers?) and he would probably lose to. This isn't a ******* stand up sport, I SWEAR TO YOU, I SWEAR ON MY ******* LIFE, that any good grapperler that utilizes their ground game against Brett will win.

Edit: By the way, if he fought Overeem, he would lose in a round.
I think Fedor is the most overrated fighter in mma. I think he's way to small for Rodgers, and will get tagged. Fedor's good at subs, but not a takedown artist like some of the bigger UFC HW's. Fedor could barely hold Crocop down. He'd be a fool to take on Rodgers.

Not a takedown artist?! bahahahah! And besides that, he's also a stand up artist, he would knock out Rogers in a ******* second. Guys that are overly aggresive? Yeah, DONE!

I'm speaking of Brett Rodgers, by the way.
Please if you feel the need to discuss Rogers so bad that you must make multiple threads about him could you at least learn to spell his name right?

Sorry, I thought the name had a "d." Fixed it in the OP. Happy?
