It is fair because everyone can do it. Some guys just don't like to. That is their choice to stay in a division where they will be out sized most of the time. Some people will be better at it than others but some people are better at BJJ than others, some are harder punchers.

Weight cutting has become a skill that is part of the sport now and people who are better at it than others have an advantage. Some people may not like that since the cutting doesn't happen in the cage but look at it this way: people who are better at training have an advantage too and that doesn't happen in the cage either.

How do fighters exactly cut weight? Do they start a fat diet 3 weeks before the fight or is all the extra weight just water they dehydrate a few days before the fight?

Yo what's wit' d funni ha ha questions these days, yo? I spend time away from this hole and I come back to THIS!? Shiiiiiiitttt. To answer your mofo question it all depends on the fighter and how much man weighs before cuttin'. Some brothers will fight at lightheavy who weight 210lbs off season won't even cut weight but just look after their diet, yo. Then cut out a little water by going to a mofo sauna. So they may just wait 2 or 3 days like ma man Wanderlei Silva used to do when he was king of light heavy, bluds.
If its a fighter like my other brother Forrest law then manz gotta cut out bodyfat at least 12 weeks before their fight, yo.
