First off, MFS is a world class organization. They wont go anywhere. Second off, I do think Matt Hughes could regain his title. Third off, I dont see big Tim losing his title anytime soon either. Rich wasnt part of MFS, just good friends like said earlier. Also, what in the world was *Iceman* talking about>

Hughes should finnally go fight Lindlands somewhere. They used to talk about it all the time and I want to see Lindland beat up another MFS fighter.

Hughes wasn't getting easy fights and he should not move to Canada! MFS just had a bad year, they'll rebound!
In 2007 I see
1. Tim Sylvia getting his sh*t together and actually fight his opponents instead of being a pansy! Because if he doesn't the UFC will start looking for reasons to get rid of him and strip him of that title!
2. Rich Franklin building himself back to contendership and possible get a rematch with Silva
3. Jens Pulver getting his sh*t together!
4. Matt Hughes might get the title back, Im not sure! But I don't think GSP will dominate him like he did in the last fight!

  • MFS is still the best UFC fighting camp. They've suffered some recent losses that have made a lot of people begin to think they're slipping, no question there.
  • MFS still has a chance to regain its top position but if they loose the heavyweight belt there will probably be fighter turnover. Several of their top fighters might leave for other camps or maybe even start their own. I know those guys are tight but nothing lasts forever.
  • The bottom line is that MFS has the potential to suffer the same fate as the once touted Lion's Den; the same guys training with each other for years at the same place produces fighters that are only as good as the best guy their.

I'm talking about MFS suck ups who think that miletitch rules the world look they only take fights they want not ones thay have too. Matt knew he could out muscle Royce and with that newly found confidnece he took on BJ look at how many guys GSP had to beat up to get his shot at the title he was number one contender after dismantling Trigg. but yet he had to fight Sherk then Penn thats b/c Matt knew what would happen if they fought. And frank was like I dont think its fair that Silva gets a title shot after one win b/c franklin knew he couldnt beat silva and his time was up. And look at Tims last title defense the smallest HW in the ufc probably in the world.

Pat M. has trained more world champs than any other other trainer.
some of his current fighters are Jens Pulver, Matt Hughes, Tim Sylvia, Spencer Fisher, Robbie Lawler, Mike Ciesnolevicz(great potential), Josh Neer, and who was that guy that beat The Legionnaire in the last ufc. That was a fun fight to watch.

Hey, don't forget about Spencer Fisher taking over the Lightweight division in 2007. That will get MFS some recognition, for sure.

Yeah, that fight with Sakara at UFC 65 was an awesome slugfest. I'm not sure what Sakara tried to do by laying down (if that's what he tried to do) after he got hit, but he sure as hell paid for it. I can't remember that guys name.
