Nick Diaz

i know alot of people dont like diaz. and i know he has had some losses, but i think he should get a title shot at some point this year. obviously there are a couple guys in front of him. im sure hughes will get a re-match, and diego is in line before nick also. but i just think that he deserves a shot. id like to see him and gsp go at it. they both like to push the pace, and they are both well rounded. i personally like nick diaz's attitude. i think he is hilarious. if you look at the fights he has lost he went to war with those guys, and lost a decision. he was never stopped. that says alot to me. you can count on nick diaz to bring it every time. check his record..

I think he is a pretty good fighter, but he has lost to a lot of contenders. I think it is very possible for him to get a title match in 2008

Well i hope you mean "this year" as in 2007.

But ya i think he's done very well lately, i just think his stand up is to counter punch.

He has great strength and a very good chin but he really...hasn't buckled down toe-to-toe and just brawled.

I guess you could say he did in the robbie lawler fight but he was kinda of backing away and get em with a good counterpunch.

But i still think Diaz deserves atleast to fight a contender. I'd like to see him fight Koscheck or Fitch. Or maybe even a rematch with Karo since Karo lost (matters what happeneds after December's UFN.

Anyways i do agree with ya i think he deserves a chance to atleast fight a contender.

Diaz is a good fighter, but he is still pretty young, and makes mistakes. His BJJ is pretty good, and some of his losses could easily have been draws or wins because the fights were so close.

He is so scrawny that he could probably drop to lightweight without too much trouble as well. But yeah, I think he has been around enough to deserve a title shot, seeing as how there is really no ranking system and they just hand out title shots as they see fit.

No way. His fight with Diego, Riggs, Sherk.....not even close. Diaz makes for interesting fights and I like to watch him because I like to root against him. He has alot of hills to climb before he is ready for a title shot. I question why the UFC put him against Diego, Riggs, and Sherk in a row....damn that is trial by fire. I respect him but he isn't ready. Put him against Jon Fitch....
