Riggs will probably win though. When he does he'll be in line for a future title shot

I don't think they are gonna out Riggs like they did to Loiseau if he loses (in light of what's happened to him lately.)

Riggs is still young too. He's fought at 300+ so he can go to any weight class he chooses. I think he's going to beat Sanchez myself. Here's what I see happening:

Riggs wins - (Riggs fights Hughes unless Hughes vs. GSP is already set up) otherwise, Riggs fights BJ Penn, or possibly Matt Serra after he loses.

Riggs loses - if he stays in the UFC, he'll get someone like Chris Lytle. Or he moves up to 185.

Sanchez wins - fights BJ Penn while Hughes vs. GSP 3 is going on. IF he beats BJ (and I highly doubt this as BJ will be fully trained for that fight) then he gets his title shot.

Sanchez loses - he falls off the face of the Earth for a year or two until he comes back with an even dumber ring entrance.

Leben has been asking for riggs for a long time, ever since his fight with patrick cote.

the ufc oviously doesent want them to fight because they have both fought on the same card before more than twice since leben has been wanting him.

Id love to see leben vs. riggs that would be great.

I think that if Riggs loses then he should go to 185 if he beat kendall grove before Ithink he can handle the height difference in the middle wieght. But Diego could be alot more dominate in the 155 division

Wow a lot of people picking Riggs to beat Sanchez. I don't know about this one. Sanchez always proves me wrong. I'd love to see Riggs win but I just don't know. Riggs has had his personal problems recently which could either benefit or negatively effect his performance. It could benefit because of motivation and anger, but it could neg. effect because it is such a tragedy. Then you got Sanchez who we all know wants a title shot more than anything since he's been in the UFC, so he knows beating Riggs is just one step closer to the title. If Riggs loses I agree with everyone else he should move up a class.

Joe Riggs is a massive 170 pounder, and has punching power. If the Joe Riggs who fought Doerksen & Diaz shows up, then he could very well beat Sanchez. I'm picking Sanchez to win though, but this should be a really fun fight.

Riggs would make a perfectly fine gatekeeper.

So sorry master, boy I did not know we're not allowed to give compliments? I'm glad you straighten me out.
Joe Riggs will have to go to the end of the line, in whatever weight class he chooses.

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
