It was all right. Was it just me or did it sound like Dana was trying to hint at an upcoming Wanderlei vs. Chuck fight for '07?

Yep...ditto...I also liked the fact that GSP is still a classy dude after winning the championship! And what about Serra's comments? what do you guys think?

Dana was also hinting at signing some more talent to fight in the UFC next year. I bet he'll announce the signing of Aleksander Emelienenko at Ultimate Fight Night. Also look for Matt Lindland to be signed to challenge Anderson ... and if Dana doesn't want to mess with Pride and WAnderlei, I bet he'll sign Rampage as well for some more competition for Chucky.

with the ufc doing so well i think they relize that all this hype isn't going to last if they have no one to fight the top guys like chuck and anderson. I guess Zuffa is finnally giving dana some money to pay with.

I think Dana sees PRIDE in danger with no fuji deal and thinks he can get them to come to an agreement.
GSP was very classy and gracious, Serra said exactly what most of us think about Hughes, he's a great figher but he's a prick.
Serra needs a beatdown for the cheeta spot pattern inside the collar, leave the pimp suits (and backhands) to Shonie Carter...
I haven't written Serra off, but my post points are on GSP.

I thought Rampage didn't want to sign with the UFC? Anyways, the show covered what we already knew except for the possibility of the UFC dealing with Pride again!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I thought it was a good show actually. Lots of little information, most of which we knew but good for other people to have. I like how he mentioned the 46 mil debt so now everybody doesn't think I pulled that out of my ass

I think Rogan's TOP 5 was a little weak for Joe who should know that there were some better fights in the last year than stuff he picked.

GSP/Serra, good stuff. I am glad Matt is aware nobody is counting on him at all.

My only complaint of the show was it needs some more presentation, organization, something. It really felt like Rogan just reading off a bunch of cards. First they were like, "Here's the UFC News" and they just talked briefly about 66. "Ok now it's time for," "Now let's talk about," "It's about that time for" just bam, bam, bam. That annoyed me a little bit that it felt really thrown together.

Should be better next week when they go to the marine base for UFN. Stuff like that we're not gonna get from our wonderful MMA forum! Plus we can see if anybody realigned Franklin's nose.
