Yeah, this win would but Riggs back on the map! A lose for Diego would be good for him otherwise he'll turn into another Matt "Cocky Jock" Hughes! Who needs that?
But I don't see Riggs winning this!

I don't really like either of them.
But since Diego went the distance and won against Karo, I have to give him the edge on this one.

Diego will winn this fight. There is no basis other then "punchers chance" to say Riggs will win this fight. Couple that with emotional motivation, Diego will have to survive an onslaught of power punches but after that, Riggs won't get it done. Riggs will be submitted by Diego.

Yeah, once I went back and watched Diego vs. Karo a second or third time, it was more apparent that Diego had won that decision fairly. The first time I watched it, I almost thought Karo won, but Diego definitely took it.
This match has the potential to be as good as Diego vs. Karo, I think. Whether you like or hate Diego, his fighting style is actually very exciting. He just needs to start finishing fights because he's won his fights mostly by decision.
I’d like to see Diego finish him, preferably by ground and pound referee stoppage.

Hmm..if I understood your statement correctly, you actually think Joe Riggs could deliver a beating to Georges St. Pierre. (anyone ever notice i never use the word GSP?) Joe Riggs hits hard but Georges is ultimate in the welterweight division. Top 3 in my opinion are Georges St, Pierre, Matt Hughes, and BJ Penn. Joe needs to improve more and beat better fighters before hes able to take it to St. Pierre

GSP is a bad matchup for both Sanchez & Riggs. Hell, GSP is a bad matchup for anyone right now.
I oddly don't see GSP finishing Diego though. That fight would go the distance, because Diego has proved that he can turn it up when the rounds keep winding down.

Yeah, I would like to hear about what people have seen in Diego's game that can be exploited by Riggs or even GSP. GSP has many strengths and he is the champ. He has the edge in that fight but again, Diego's game and pace are great too. I don't see him changing his style much to try and finish more fights. The more chances you take to finish the fight the more chances you are going to get caught. Fighting with that in mind usually makes for a shitty fight but not with Diego. He is one of those fighters that I do not criticize for not finishing early because all three rounds are going to be fun to watch, and he usually does alot of damage to his opponent and/or imposes his will.

All I hear is that Joe Riggs was a Heavy weight figher & cut down to 185 then 170, and had all that power left in his punches??? Haven't seen any of it! I don't think that he'll knock out Diego, or be able to submit him!
Diego by sub!
and GSP will be the champ for a very long time!!!
