George Foreman, Earnie Shavers, Ron Lyle, Sonny Liston, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano. Liddell did not hit harder than any of them.

Compare the reactions of their KO victims with Liddell's.....there are striking contrasts.

no offense to chuck but he couldnt hit as hard as any of the top notch fighters ali faced and chuck's cardio is kinda questionable so i dunno how you can say his cardio would be way better foreman has the record for hardest punches in boxing history i believe

Larry Holmes and Muhammed Ali, to name a few, have said Shavers is the hardest puncher they have ever faced, citing him over other noted punchers like Foreman, Frazier, and yes even Iron Mike Tyson. Take a look at Shaver's legs and back and you'll see where his power came from.

Shavers was an animal. Ali would have said that George Foreman was the hardest puncher except he didn't let George hit him cleanly. Fraziers left hook was crazy power. No doubt that Chuck has extremely heavy hands. Chucks defense needs some work as his head is pretty stationary. It would be nice to see some big name boxers try out MMA.

Ali by Kimura!

On a serious note: Chuck is a top level MMA striker, but there is a huge difference between a top level MMA fighter and an elite Boxer. Ali would murder Chuck in stand up. Chuck's only chance would be to take it to the ground.

Ali in his PRIME would tear Liddell apart. Liddell's best game is striking, Ali's only game is striking. MMS rules or boxing Ali would kill Liddell since Liddell wouldn't be able to stand with Ali no way
