George Sotiropoulos **SPOILER**

Man, did he look good. I almost hate to say it because he was a bit of a richard head to his team on The Ultimate Fighter (almost like he was already trying to soften them up for the semi-finals), but he looked great. He was one of the few fighters in MMA that really and truly looked like a BJJ black belt. Many fighters are introduced as BJJ black belts, but they just don't look like they have that perfected feel to their submissions and guard-passing like he did. Granted, George Roop just looked out of his element, but he was definitely no ground work newcomer. I loved how he faked a kamura threat on top to slip to Roop's back. And then at the end he showed how it goes down when he actually did want the kamura. Nice showing!

I agree, he looked good.

I don't see him beating BJ but if he works on his striking he could be a decent Lightweight.

Yeah, I forgot what his age was, but he is still quite early in his MMA career. If the rest of his game can catch up to his BJJ, I think he could become a contender. Of course it is still a long journey to work towards a fight with BJ, but I think this was a great first step.

George Sotiropoulos vs George Roop

There are people out there doing a great job making it look like a non-violent sport. Thatís not my job. My job is warfare. Iím over here to (expletive) kill..... Nick Diaz

BJ's Ju-Jitsu is second to none in MMA.

Yah he looked very good tonight. Granted george Roop is nothing special but I was impressed.

Does anyoen else here think George Sotiropoulos kinda looks like a mini Fank Shamrock in the cage.

Fixed. I don't think you can argue that BJ's offensive BJJ is on the same level as Maia. If it is, he should use it far more.

He could use it more, but he is too good at punching peoples lights out unlike Maia. Maia is damn good on the ground but BJ makes good BJJ fighter look like amateurs on the ground. Its hard to say someone is better than him when he dominates like that. I wouldnt say he is better than Maia but I wouldnt say hes worse either.

Penn's BJJ is amazing but I think Maia has the better BJJ.
