Anderson also shook Forrest's hand after he got up the second time, before he finished him off. Yeah, I could do without the showboating he did but, as in football, if you don't want someone to do that to you then you should stop them.

Forrest is one of my favourite fighters - i'm gutted that Anderson made him look like a disabled donkey. Literally gutted.

Basically, i would love to find a reason to fault Silva. But there isnt any. He is a genius - watching his stand up is poetry in motion. And what you percieved as 'disrespect' was just an example of this genius.

Also, as others have noted, Anderson is one of the most respectful fighters in the game. But like others have said, i couldnt really give a shit whether they are or they arent trying to hug each other all the time.

I think that he as much or more class than anyone except for maybe rich and randy. Pre and post fight he he is very respectful not cocky or anything but when in the fight he is all business and will play mind games.

I remember that after the second fight with franklin he came back and talked to franklin about how much he respected him and apologized for a little bit of antics he did in the fight by dropping his hands. I remember franklin saying something like "will someone tell this guy that it was a fight and he shouldn't have to apologize for anything in that fight." or something like that.

Silva wasn't dancing and he wasn't just showboating. People really need to educate themselves to other fighter styles/tactics, so when the something non "conventional" is seen you won't flip out.

A lack of class was shown in the co main event but it wasn't from Anderson.

ITS A FIGHT!!! Silva called Ms. Griffin out and made him look like the bitch that he is. I can say that because I've had a personal experience with him when he used to train at the Xyience gym at Flamingo and Durango. Run forrest! RUN!!! = forrest

You Are All Correct Anderson Silva Has No Class . . .

Yeah, Anderson Silva has no class at all, as the OP stated . . .

There is no weight class that Silva couldn't dominate in.

If he chose to gain to compete at heavyweight, or lose weight to compete at welter(hypothetically, not practical at all), then he would dominate easily.

In this sense, Silva has no class, because there is no weight class that can hold him.

he really didn't need to use anything else against forrest. he wasn't going to clinch with him and risk being taken down. he did throw a knee to the body when they got close. but seriously, one hook and forrest was on his ass. why risk throwing kicks?

forrest can only blame himself for being emberrassed. Silvas dodging was pure awsome. First they hate on him for being boring and now they hate him for making a show.
