Tito Ortiz Interview: Machida, Surgery and MMA in New York

It's pretty clear that Tito's back, but he doesn't really have that arrogance anymore. Maybe that'll show up as he has something to be arrogant ABOUT, but he seems pretty humble here.

He's all about fighting those Titleship rounds.:thumb02:

i think he has been humbled. he thought that ufc couldnt last without him he was quickly stripped of that idea, and saw what he was missing out on.

diemos 08-10-2009 12:48 PM

good stuff, he just can't stop talking but its nice!

WAR TITO!

Can't believe he wants to fight at the end of November THEN at New Year. He maybe thinks Coleman is gonna be a walkover. Personally, I can't wait to see him back. :thumb02:

i cant wait to see tito back, the guy is one of my favorite guys form the UFC and was in one of the first few fights i saw of UFC

Joessups 08-10-2009 01:21 PM

I think he just wants to be back in the spotlight and make some money, after Coleman we'll see how he does. I think he's getting too old to compete with these younger guys.

I like this Tito he seems really dedicated, but that turnover seems a little soon thats less than 2 months.

ronbourgh 08-10-2009 02:06 PM

Well,

Tito has never been a favorite of mine, but I am willing to give him another chance.

Perhaps his arrogance and all were rooted in his feud for Dana?

He seems more professional now(despite the Dana Kiss) and it is good to see him being somewhat normal for a change.

Hopefully, the maturity is not a facade.

I'm not sure how he;ll do against Coleman, although I do think he will win.

Only Tito can prove he still "has it" -- he seemed to not "have it" before he left -- but then again, could be the result of the feud and lack of motivation

One thing's for sure -- a lot of ring rust to compensate for-- the Coleman fight may be perfect for just that.
