who is the next middle weight champ

if silva dose decide to go abandon the middle weight class who becomes the next champ?

AceofSpades187 08-10-2009 08:36 PM

Hendo or marquardt

JoshKnows46 08-10-2009 08:46 PM

It will be hendo/marquette for the title, and Nate will win and be champ for a long, long time....hendo will be 2nd best in the division till he retires.

I honestly think if Anderson relinquishes his title, Hendo,Franklin, Marquardt, Maia, Vitor, could all be in the mix.

dlxrevolution 08-10-2009 11:28 PM

Where's Demian Maia at?

The505Butcher 08-10-2009 11:31 PM

Nate all the way! or maia if he loses. I can not wait for that fight now.

Davisty69 08-10-2009 11:46 PM

Hendo... Nobody is going to beat him that isn't named A. Silva.

steveo412 08-11-2009 12:25 AM

They will probably have a fight between winner of Marquardt/Maia vs Henderson for vacant belt. That makes the most sense. Probably with winner of Vitor/Franklin to be first contendor

Franklin is in good shape once Silva moves up. It'll be Franklin's belt. Besides Henderson, the only problem Franklin had was Spider.

PheelGoodInc 08-11-2009 02:53 AM

Franklin. He's severely underated. I think he beat Hendo the first time around... if they rematched (like they originally planned), Franklin would dominate Hendo. The only reason Hendo is winning in the polls is because of the Bisbin KO.

I like Hendo, but I'm tired of everyone discrediting Franklin.

Heh. Go back and watch him fight Ace. I can understand if you think that he will be the next winner... but to say that NO ONE will beat him after such a controversial loss to Franklin is highly jumping the gun.
