Brock Lesner Vs Anderson Silva

I actully like brock as a fighter alot, but i think it would be really awesome to see the lil guy knock him the **** out....he's a huge man, and i think it would add to anderson's legend if he was able to beat this monster who i believe will never be beat by any heavywieght in his carrer again, because he is getting better and better with every fight, and his size is such a huge asset....i think silva's elusivness and striking and quickness can take out the big man before he takes him down.

discuss.,,srry if they had a thread like this....i just think this fight would be cool, if theirs one man that can move two wieghtclasses up and knock out the bigger man, it would be anderson silva.

please make it happen dana.

This makes no sense. This is not 1992 where the little guy who knows BJJ can dominate. Brock Lesnar is getting really good, but to say that NO HW will ever beat him is absurd when you give the notion that Anderson can beat him. Anderson might be the number 1 p4p, but he is not the end all.

I agree with you! Brock has no chance taking Silva down because he is so quick. It took a lightning fast takedown machine like Lutter to take Silva down. Awesome stand up war incoming basically!

I dont think he would knock him out. Brock moves faster then Forest would and he would shut so fast and take Silva down and then just control him. Silva would attemp some submissons but would not be able to make him tap, dont think he is strong enough to hold him down. I think Brock would throw him all over the place like he did some of the WWE guys, it would not be fair. Brock is fast he runs the 40 in 4.65secs and weighs 265lbs or more, man that is fast. He is strong benches 475lbs he squats 700lbs. I sure he can take pain, watched him try something in the WWE that little guys do and landed wrong and still fought.

silva's takedown defense has gotton alot better since the lutter fight, but i guess you haven't noticed.

I'm not tryin to say anderson can stop brocks takedowns, becuase that would be absurd, their isn't a fighter in the mma world that can stop lesners takedowns, much less a guy thats two wieght classes plus some smaller than him with average wrestling....it will take a great striker to beat him, becuase no one is stopping his takedowns, he's way to quick and explosive, and way to good at wrestling.

i'm saying silva can hit him with many punches before he hits the ground....hit him with alot more punches than any heavywieght can before they get takendown.

fedor has a 50% chance right now, but by the time they do fight, if they do, he'll have less than that...if anderson fought him soon, he'd have a chance.....fedor would have the best chance of any heavywieght, becuase he has the quickest hands at heavywieght.

i just want it, becuase it would be the classic david vs goliath match, and this might be the only chance we ever get to see something like this, royce gracie like, with how mma is changing for the better, it makes it alot harder for the smaller man to beat the bigger man...i just think it would be cool, maybe i'm the only one.

He is really really good as a wrestler gnp artist giant shaved gorilla smash machine. His standing striking is terrible the premise is Silva could avoid and counter strike jump in and out hitting him avoiding the takedown long enough to KO him. I think it is possible but I also think Machida would have a better shot with his striking style than Silva. Either way I think I would put the odds pretty low for this maybe 25% just because he probably only needs to get the takedown once. I am convinced this is the best skillset to beat lesnar though I don't believe in the theory that someone needs to be as big as him because he is going to have such a huge speed advantage over that person that it won't matter. Being a lot faster and a lot better at striking is the way to beat Lesnar at this point in his career.

thats exactly what i'm think bro, i wouldn't give it more than 25% chance for machida or silva, but i'd still really love to see it, and i think like you the quicker fighter would have a better chance than trying to match lesner size for size.
