It's so hard to pick, but i have Lyoto by decision in a very uneventful fight.

At first I was 50 - 50 but holy cow, the way Anderson looked in his fight against Forrest was too surreal.

In the last wild and frantic swings between Machida and Rashad, honestly, either of the two guys could have been caught.

With Anderson vs Forrest, it looked so effortless you'd think Forrest had just started fighting last week. The hands down, the chin out, the sauntering in the cage, the casual killer jab...Silva had people that had booed him coming in going nuts, cheering after that fight.

Easy call. The only hard part in my decision was they are friends.

lyoto could counter silva's punches and kicks which can lead to silvas defeat but thats my opinion

Anderson never wins this silly "who's your favorite" polls (he was actually losing against Forrest in the opinions here).

If you asked who'd win Jens Pulver or Silva, a lot of peeps here would find ways to explain how Pulver would break Silva's will, so with Machida you might as well not waste time starting the poll.

Silva will always "lose" until he knocks someone out.

I was the only one to pick Silva in my MMAplayground fight camp. This is different. I do understand completely respect the idea of people predicting Lyoto beating Anderson, unlike Forrest beating Anderson.

But as far as Lyoto countering Silvas punches and kicks...who is to say Silva chases Machida? It's not happening. If Anderson did engage and chase down Lyoto, it won't be a cake walk for Machida to counter him. Silva is the best striker in MMA.

When it all comes down to it, this will be a striking match. And while both of them are two of the best strikers in the UFC...that's where the line is drawn. Silva is #1, Machida is #2. That's the difference.

I got Silva in this one, and I love them both.

Anderson said it himself, "Lyoto would beat me anyways"

The rest of the conversation was him saying he wont fight Lyoto because he is his brother and training partner.

So that means he wouldn't beat him then. You solved the mystery, case closed threads over.
