I guess 100 spillover actually happened plus they had two good draws in BJ and Forrest. I figured between 600-900 I would be really surprised if it cracks a million.

We hear a lot about Anderson's pending retirement, but I am skeptical he will really stop fighting in 3 fights. He's been upset with poor payouts on his contract because his shows haven't done that well, but if he starts making millions of dollars per fight like he will for UFC 101, I suspect he will reconsider. Two or three UFC fights that draw like this will net him more than any fight with Roy Jones would, and he's obviously still at his athletic peak. The threat to leave and fight Roy Jones is an effective tool that got Silva a better contract, and it will probably be used again to get an even better contract. With so many big fights on the horizon and so much money on the table, Anderson Silva probably isn't going anywhere.

I don't know what the truth is about him retiring, unhappy with payouts etc but this paragraph sounds good to me, I hope he signs a new contract when the 3 fights are done

Pretty good buys the UFC is doing.. would love to see weekly "free" events on Spike now though - they've got enough depth and fan base to pull it out now.

I hear you Satori. I missed 101, the first UFC I've missed in a looooooong time and having seen it on-line since, I'm pretty damn happy I didn't waste $50 on it. It was pretty dismal.

I thought the main event and the co-main event made it worth the whole price tag, but maybe thats because two of my favorite fighters each had, arguably, their best performance ever.
So ya, I may be biased, but I thought it was awesome, and good for the UFC bringing in mad moolahs

Nice buys, but it wasn't one of my favorite events.
Honestly, the Hendo KO was the only thing that stood out to me.
