Ufc And The Prelims...........................

JUST A THOUGHT. SINCE WE ALL PAT THE PPV PRICE. WE GET TO SEE THE MAIN CARD...MAYBE 1 PRELIM. SOMETIMES NONE. WHY CANT UFC TAKE THE PRELIMS AND AIR THEM ON SPIKE. SOME OF THE PRELIM MATCHUPS ARE VERY GOOD. JUST A THOUGHT...SINCE NOBODY BUT THE ARENA CAN VIEW THEM ...

I think its bs for sure. Play the damn things on ppv as well as spike. DOnt give the the excuse that they are only allowed so much air time. If that was the case there wouldnt be replys right after the damn thing on the same channel. theres been a couple of times I had to catch a fight from the showing after words.

Yeah I don't understand why they just don't put up all the unaired prelims on ufc.com after the event. It would give people a chance to get familiar with new up and coming fighters and help sell ppv:s for future events once those fighters make it to the main card.

Btw boney, press this button once:

Or how about not re-running the countdown show 5 times before the event while the prelims are happening, so you can watch them live.....

It might be a good idea to air the prelim fights live on Spike. The UFC would be hyping the main card the entire time during the prelims and could encourage some people that dont usually buy the ppv to buy just for the main event or co-main events

A factor of putting it on Spike TV live is presentation. Half the audience is not in the arena yet and Buffer, Rogan, and Goldberg have to save their voices and energy for the three hour ppv broadcast. I could go for putting it on Spike days afterward taped, with dubbed in commentary (so Rogan and Goldberg don't have to sound boring) but the thing with the audience still lingers.

I agree, if you ordered the PPV, I'm pretty sure you know who's fighting and what the setup is.

That is actually one of the most brilliant schemes I've heard of. Seriously. It would let us see the prelims, and give them plenty of time to REALLY hype the main card, and generate last-minute buys. win-win.
