Southworth has all the potential in the world to be a good fighter at 205 pounds. He was very close to winning TUF1 in my opinion. Had he been in shape and not been 30 pounds overweight, I think Southworth would have been a lot more skilled than he was on the show. It was really hard for him to lose that weight and it most likely took a toll on his training. Despite being a bit of a whiner, heís a talented guy and heís got quite a few good years of fighting left in him. I imagine at some point, the UFC will take a look at him again. He was on the TUF1 show for a reason, obviously.
