i just dont get it, most everyone complains about the overall talent level in the ufc when compared to pride but then you want to give a little ***** like southworth another chance. Why not find fighters who actually train hard and dont mind giving/taking a beating. I want to see fighters with heart not fighters who get by on talent alone. Plus we need more fighters who can compete at the top not just more undercard fighters who really have no chance of ever being great in the sport. Save those fighters for "strikeforce"

I don't. They had to force his ass to stay in that sauna and Koschek had to drag (literally) his ass back into that sauna. I could only imagine how lazy his fighters would be.
Personally, I don't see Southworth back in the UFC other than to be fed to someone. Dana and Chuck were both tired of his lazy, complaining ass. And like someone said Southworth got on Dana's-big-ego nerves quite a bit.

As big an ego Dana apparently has, he wouldn't let his personal relationship with a fighter get in the way of a fighters career in the UFC, especially if they have talent. Like I said on the last page, Southworth was on the show for a reason, and I firmly believe he'll be back at some point. Hell, Dana said he and Ortiz hate each others guts and they still manage to do business. Why couldn't Southworth and Dana do the same?

You must've missed the "he finds it to be more of a chore" part of my post. Of course Southworth didn't want to cut weight, and made a show out of it. See, as a coach, he doesn't have to cut weight. He was also being a pretty good cornerman for Josh Koscheck on the show. Southworth could be a good coach. Does he coach at AKA? I just sort of lost interest for Bobby after the show(Which I'm sure almost every did. Or, they had no interest in the first place).

There is a HUGE difference between Tito and Southworth. Tito was the one of the biggest draws the UFC had prior to their TUF success. Tito/Shamrock 1 was the best selling UFC PPV at the time. Not to mention there were also rumors about Don King trying to start his own promotion with Tito as the poster boy along with Pride offering him what he wanted from the UFC. Those were big threats if they were true, is it a big threat that SF has Southworth? Nope, not even if he somehow manages to get himself into the top ten.

He doesn't have to cut weight, but there's still a lot of physical activity that he has to do as a coach. He was being lazy during the training and the challenges. He may have been a good cornerman for Koschek, but so was Shamrock but we saw how he treated his guys on TUF3. Southworth's work ethic is going to keep him from being a good coach.

No way Dana would do it. He can't stand him. And Bobby was not a popular enough person from teh Tuf show for Dana to take one up the ass just to please fans.
Southworth would have to prove awhole lot more than what he has done now to be close to getting in the UFC again. That'd be like Dana brining back what's his name who left cuz of his girlfriend problems "He was a good fighter tho guys c'mon!"
Please.

He may or may not be an advantage to the UFC, but he shouldnt have been a whiny b**** about everything. I don't think it would be so bad if he didn't make himself look like a d*** baby for cutting weight. I could see him coming back for a few though, but I wouldnt expect to see him going for a title anywhere in this lifetime
