Well, I agree Fedor would beat Tim Sylvia..but to say someone cant say "nuthugger" just because of there ammount of posts is kind of ehh.. ridiculous. Just because they don't have many posts on this forum it doesn't mean they lack knowledge of MMA.. Heck, I'm sure a guy with 2 posts here may know more than a dude with 500..

See, this is my issue with Tim Sylvia. I think he's a great fighter. I thinks he's got talent more than any other guy in the UFC Heavyweight division, along with a trainer who's smart as hell, as much as I'm not a fan of Pat Miletich.

You think Sylvia trains hard, but I don't see that in his fights. I see that in his training camps he's slacking. I know that the guys at Cro Cop Squad train their asses of and I know the guys at Red Devil train their asses off, and it shows in their fights. I don't see that when Tim Sylvia steps in the ring.

The last two times Sylvia has stepped in were against guys that he would have destroyed if he had been in the kind of shape that he was when he fought Ricco Rodriguez, Tra Telligman or Gan McGee. Hell, I thought he would have decimated them if he had been in the shape he was in for the Mir fight (he just ended up in a bad position with a superior grappler).

Except for the vengeance that he got in the Arlovski fight I have been not only unimpressed, but upset with his last 3 fights. We saw what Brandon Vera did to Assuerio Silva, and the fact that Tim had to take that fight to a decision? Ridiculous.

Pants sh*tting and bowel issues asside, Silva is a fighter that Tim should have decimated, but didn't.

Tim Sylvia is a great fighter (yeah, I said it, so there) but he needs to get in shape and prove that he deserves that belt. He needs to destroy the guys who come into that ring in bad shape, like Monson and Arlovski did. As a UFC champion, he should be showing the world that he deserves to be called one of the best. He should be dominant in a division that sucks as badly as the UFC heavyweight division does. He should not be a mediocre wimp like he was in his last few fights.

If Tim Sylvia shapes up and starts getting more first round KOs again then we'll start to to talk about a fight with Fedor. Until then, he'd be better off getting hit by a bus.

As long as you admit he can fight. I'll accept the post and not argue.
