A thing to keep in mind about that is that it wasn't a standard submission but a submission due to strikes on the ground. One of the strikes broke Coutures orbital bone so he verbally submitted.

touche, honestly I couldn't remember the fight just couldn't think of Randy ever tapping out so I looked it up but that makes sense cause for some reason I though Ricco beat him by TKO.

Probably to some extent because of their last fights. Although all four are coming from a loss, Randy and Jardine looked pretty good in their last fight, while Nog and Thiago looked like shit.

Also Nog may be much younger than Couture but Randy started in MMA late and when you consider the absuse both guys have taken in there careers, I would suspect that Nog feels much older than the Natural.

Anyone else think Thiago isn't in shape?
Evidence:
1. He's only gone the distance once way back in 2006.
2. He attacks frantically....I am not dissing him for this, I like aggressive fighters, I like first round KO's and he seems to get it done...against Top 100 fighters. Jardine is a little higher on the food chain.
3. The guy is smooth around the midsection and not that muscular. Looks like he would be a beast at 185.

All Jardine has to do is weather the early storm with this guy IMO. I think Jardine is out of the woods from his Alexander/Wandy slips at least that's what I saw with the Rampage fight.

T.Silva is going to come out frantic but by the end of round one Joe and Goldie are gonna be barking. (Those two are like bloodhounds with that shit "EWWWW EWWW! His mouth is open! He's tired He's really tired and in trouble, Mike. I see it Joe! His mouth is open old friend!"

A groan of tedium escapes me...

I'll bet what few credits I have on Thiago Silva. You're on, brother.

Everyone else -- Even if you don't Think Silva is a great fighter...how come no one has answered me about Houston Alexander? Hmmm? How do you explain what he did to Jardine? Is Silva not better than Alexander?

it is a good point. Jardine is a very inconsistent fighter. he gets on a nice win streak against some good fighter and then BAM he gets wrecked out of nowhere.

Jardine explained what happened with Houston. He was full of himself for the Forrest destruction, had a bad attitude "Why am I fighting this loser", and he didn't know shit about him so he was being sloppy and got caught. That Jardine isn't showing up Saturday.

Cold Call 420!

So...did I call that fight perfectly or did I call that fight perfectly?

Tell you what -- keep your credits. Let's go double or nothing for a future fight.

I have a good feeling about Cigano upsetting Cro Cop...care to tango?
