Jardine is an amazing fight and could be champ.... if Lyoto wasn't there. But there's quiet a few fighters that could be champ in that division if Machida were gone. Don't forget that Jardine lost to Rampage in the last 5 seconds. He is one of the most underrated fighters out there.

Why should we focus on that? His embarassing losses to Alexander and Silva are way more prominent, not because he lost but because of the way he was stopped. Maybe Jardine was close to beating Rampage in minds of some fans, in mine he wasn't that close, even without the last knockdown I'd give the "W" to Jackson.

Favorite fighters:
1. Badr Hari
2. Remy Bonjasky
3. Mauricio Rua
4. Anderson Silva
5. Alistair Overeem

One of the judges told him he lost in the last 5 seconds. That fight is more prominent because it was his last fight and Rampage is a top level fighter. Who cares if he lost to Alexander and Wandy? It's in the past and I'm sure he has learned from it. GSP lost to Serra, shit happens.

despite his ufc record, the axe murderer is a bona fide badass. he may be a bit over the hill these days, but there is no shame in losing to him.

Forrest lost to Jardine, Jardine lost to Houston, Houston lost to Thiago, Thiago lost to Machida so Jardine should be Machida.....right??

Jardine is already the champion of the universe, theres no need for UFC titles.

Although, he takes out Silva next week via goblin hook in the 2nd.

To prove that it was a fluke Jardine needs to fight Rampage again and beat him. Until then nothing matters. And if Thiago Silva will do what Alexander and Silva did, it will only prove that Jardine is not that great.
