Probably not. He is a wrestler with limited stand up and not much of a submission game. He is also 0-1 in the UFC (losing via first round submission against Dan Miller) while Leben a lot more experienced at 8-4 in the UFC. It looks like the UFC is trying to give Leben an easy win here.

He's an outstanding wrestler...he's the type of guy that could pull off a Jake Obrien/Herring type victory. He can probably take Leben down at will but with his lack of stand up and Leben's iron chin he has no chance of finishing Leben.

Rusholt took a lot of punishment in his WEC fight but if that had been Leben, Rusholt would have been finished IMO. His opponent who I can't recall and am too lazy to look up is not in Leben's league if that tells you anything.

Before his WEC fight, MMAJUNKIE ran a glowing article on Rusholt as an outstanding prospect ready to make an immediate impact so my expectations were pretty high. He took heavy damage in his victory against a nobody and looked extremely tight and under alot of pressure to perform. I wasn't surprised when he lost his UFC debut because of this.

He is not ready for Leben. Leben has made a place for himself in the UFC and this is damage control for his most recent indiscretion. Look for a HL KO and a lot of thanking the fans, Dana and the UFC, yada yada yada. Hopefully Rusholt will leave on his own two feet.

A groan of tedium escapes me...

Rosholt wrestling credentials rival that of Lesnar and Koscheck, but he seems to like to stand and trade, no unlike Koscheck as of late.

He ultimately has the ability to control where this fight takes place. But I don't think he can finish Chris.
If this fight goes to decision, chances are Rosholt takes it. If it ends KO or submission, it'll be Leben. The Crippler's ground game is severly underrated.
