He battled back to win a decision because he was outboxing Herring. He won't outbox Randy, so "battling back" will do him no good.
Nog needs a sub to win this. It is the only way I see it in my mind. Or a ridiculous, everything you got, Rashad Ko'ing Chuck, Haymaker landed on the chin/back of the neck.

When you put it that way, it makes me sad Pretty soon, all the noobs will be claiming that Nog always sucked and that he is/was just a can. It makes me angry before it ever happens.

Ah I dunno, I hope not. I mean, he's what? 33? He's coming off a loss from Mir but he's 3 from 3 before that with Sylvia, Herring and Barnett. Hopefully he'll put on a good show and keep his name, even if he loses.

I sure hope he's in the best shape since 2005. I would hate to see him go down the road of Chuck or Wandy. Please beat him, Nog!

He's 33 but I'm willing to bet he feels 53. Maybe not that old, but the guy has taken his beatings. He already looks twice his age.
Davisty, it makes me sad too. Even if Nog can get this fight to the ground, which will most likely be determined by Randy, when was the last time Randy was submitted? When was the last time Randy even close to being submitted? Cause Nog has lost a step in the striking department. His only chance is catching a submission..

Yeah Jesus I know, he looks battered! I remember when I found out his age I was shocked, such is the life of pro fighters I guess..

He was submitted in 2001 by Valentijn Overeem. That is a long time, especially considering the calibre of opponents he has faced since then.

yeah, and that was before he even began training in submissions. Still, if anyone is gonna submit Randy, Nog's the man to do it... I'm just not sure that he will.
