Diego's a BJJ black belt who was know for having a solid ground game but welcome to the lightweight division circa 2009, Everyone is a freaking black belt and even those like Nate Diaz who aren't black belts have slick ground games. Unless your name is BJ Penn and your a LW (in the UFC) your ground game don't mean shit.

I'm not gonna call you an idiot I just fail to understand how anyone possibly thinks Diego will win, What am I missing that Sanchez brings to the table because that aggressive brawling style he usually uses will result at him swinging at air from behind two swollen eyes and his ground game isnt in the same league. Also BJ's take down defense is phenomenal so he will decide where this fight takes place.

First of all, dethrone. Second of all, Diego is a great fighter, but he isn't better than BJ at anything. Nothing. I see this kinda the same way I saw GSP vs Fitch. Sure the challenger is a great fighter, but he just doesn't have an advantage anywhere. |

His performances in 2007 were awful and beating Joe Daddy shouldn't give you a title shot but w/e.
Frank Edgar should have gotten the shot instead but since Diego is a f*ckin tuffer and is more well known to the public he gets it.
