Michael Bisping = Future LHW Champion

i'm tipping this guy to become the future light heavy weight champ, he won tuf3 and i havn't heard alot about him since, i know he's schedueled to fight on the liddell v ortiz card. i was so impressed with him in that series i just wondered what everyone else thought.

Only time will tell. He has a lot of skill...and still a long road of improvement to go through. It's hard to say (from looking at TUF 3) whether he will work out well...He only had two "real" fights; Ross and Josh and both of those fighters leave something to be desired.

Bisping is deffo a runner for the light heavyweight title, I would love to see Chuck and Bisping face off. I do think Bisping needs some more fights though, maybe late next year he should start contending.

yeah i agree with what you said, he probably needs about 5 ufc fights before he could challenge chuck some time at the end of next year, he's probably the only guy that will be good enough to challenge the iceman, i'd like to see bisping bash up his old coach tito ortiz too

Lets wait till the guy actually beats a top 10 or top 20 fighter before we appoint him the next big thing. He hasn't beaten any worth mentioning yet. His next opponent Eric Shafer doesn't exactly set the bar high either.

I was impressed with him as well, but I think it's way too early to gauge his potential - at least from the matches of his that I have seen.

He can definitely bang, but I haven't seen him be really tested from a grappling standpoint in an actual fight. He faces a BJJ technician on December 30, and it'll be interesting to see how he is able to defend.
