The Truth vs. The Maine-iac

Do you think that Brandon "The Truth" Vera will beat Tim Sylvia?

I'm sure you all have seen the UFC 65 Conference video in which Dana says that Vera is ready for a title fight.

If so, Tim's next fight will be against Vera.

I think Brandon Vera is dope...I really do.

But I don't think Tim ever underestimates an opponent. That's all I will give him credit for, because he's not entertaining to watch. But he's tall, strong (though he doesn't look it, heh), and will make sure Vera doesn't take him lightly.

I'm rooting for Vera but I think Tim will hold on.

If they fought today, Tim would win. Give Vera some more time and maybe another fight before Tim and he could win. I like Vera alot especially compared to the Maniac.

hey vera is a top class striker and he'd be happy to stand with sylvia all day, vera is lethal at stand up. tim sylvia has suprised me though i thought after his loss to mir and then arlovski that was it for him but as much as a boring fighter that he is he proved he can fight by knocking out arlovski and has defended his belt ever since. don't under estimate vera i think he has the tools to beat sylvia this would be a great fight

i agree with you vera's ground game isn't the best but tim will want to stand and vera will do just that

I think vera has a strong ground game, from seeing him in vale tudo comps. He was a amazing wrestler and great in bjj. i also think he needs another fight before getting the shot.
