I dont even wanna watch this fight. All these rematches just piss me off. I think its going to go the same way except with GSP finishing it even quicker. I cant beleive they arent even gonna consider giving Diego a shot if he beats Riggs. I can see how they would give Hughes the rematch soon if he did good in the first fight, but after being absolutely dominated like that he should have to work for a shot and atleast beat some top contendors.

On another note I don't believe that Hughes is going to get booed that much but he is going to get booed just because it is Canada and GSP is an icon there. But Canada also has a lot of hard core fans who don't boo like new and uneducated fans.

If it s in Montreal. Look people in Montreal can Booo a hockey player for 60 min every time they touch the puck so imagine 5 min how it s gonna be easy to booo hughes music entrance.. Hughes will be behind enemy lines that nite for sure

I think GSP will take him again. The fight is too close together. Liek Arlovski vs. Silvia (you know it sucked he slipped the second fight, but makes no justification...), they shouldn't have rematches one right after the other. Yeah, Hughes will be more prepared, but he should still have to walk through some top contenders in order to rematch for the title.

Yea that makes sense. The greatest welterweight who has defended his title more than any other champion should have to wait. Hmmmmm.....How does it feel to be an idiot?

I can definitely see GSP winning again, but I wouldn't count Hughes out. If Hughes can get it through his thick skull that he punches like a rock'em'sock'em robot, then he'll focus much more on the takedown. I know he tried a couple takedowns, but I'm not entirely convinced they weren't a bit halfhearted due to frustration with his standup.
Next fight, Hughes will be prepared for a guy who is every bit as strong as he is, and who can end the fight multiple times due to punches, high kicks or even the leg kicks that dropped him. Hughes will have to get GSP down and work a ground 'n' pound to either get a stoppage or set up a submission. Still, I think GSP holds the definite edge due to both natural athleticism, super stand up, and a well rounded game.

I just want a good fight to show that Hughes is still one of the top dogs in that division and that might show you Hughes haters that he is still one of the best because there is no way diego is going to be able to handle GSP or any other WW's out there. GSP will win but not because Hughes is bad but because it is just GSP's time.

hey what happens if serra beats GSP and takes the belt?
anyways, this fight will be less one sided than the second, matt will come in ready. but he doesn't have much of a chance. and good god, this crowd is gonna be ridiculous for GSP

Dana White is sill in love with Hughes huh? I believe that Hughes deserves the rematch, but I don't think it'll be good for his ego. I don't see him competing in the sport as a contender either, and UFC probably sees that as well. I still think others deserve I title shot before him. I'd rather have Hughes come back later then April even if he doesn't fight inbetween. Give someone like Diego a shot.
