After that complete ass whooping Hughes got, the rematch shouldn't come so soon. Though now I bet he's working on his take downs and GnP rather than his stand up.  |

I want to see Matt have a fight before he goes back to GSP also. Love to see him fight Diego if Diego can win tonight. but everyone who is saying he doesnt deserve the rematch is just stupid. He is the best champion the UFC has ever had and is still for sure the second best welterweight right now. He has defended his title more than any Champion in History. Wake up.

its just funny to see all the Hughes Nutswingers, stay quiet after GSP did his Dance around Matt during there 2nd Fight, God i love it
and i cant wait when BJ Penn does his Dance around Hughes as well, then we'll have a Real match between BJ and GSP

Why should he beat Penn he just beat him. And penn has lost two in a row. Not only that Hughes would have to wait forever to fight Penn cause of his rib. Hughes just lost his title after what a billion friggin defenses? He deserves a rematch more than any other champion has and more than any current champion.

Hughes is the best welterweight of all time, the serie's is tied between hime and GSP 1 - 1, all these people act like GSP just beat Hughes for the hundreth time in a row and went on to beat Liddell and Fedor with his hands tied behind his back. SHUT THE FU>CK UP, I know he's canadian and his a nice guy and lotta ppl here are canadians and wanna suck his balls, but get off his ****in nuts for a sec. He barely got past BJ and he just got the belt. After he defends it 9 times like Hughes did you guys can suck on his balls all u want, give Hughes some ****in respect. You guys remind me of WWF fans or somtin, just cus u don't like a fighter bcuse of his personality or he's American, or he's a "redneck", don't try to make it out like ther a bad fighter. Fact his Hughes has the most Title defenses in UFC history. As for your "Canadian buttbuddy" comment....that's really amusing since most of you Hughes fans were so blinded by lust that you were creaming you Sprawl jammies about how he was going to destroy GSP even though it was obvious that GSP was the superior fighter and there was no way Hughes had a chance.
Bottom line is that Hughes' career was padded with fights against a lot of green/lesser opponents or fighters who were way past their prime...it was done because he's a dumb fcuking hillbilly American and that appeals to the UFC's largest demographic or fans which happens to be dumb fcuking hillbilly Americans.
