I'm with you, I've never really been a fan of Gray's style and can't see him finishing Huerta at all.

I won't be crying! I love Huerta!! A former member had a sick Huerta avy wherein Huerta later commented that he felt his change as a fighter was taking place at that very moment. I've been mesmerized by his intensity in the octagon before that, and ever since.

I love that picture.

Roger has the most intense stare you've ever seen. I'm not talking a Diego "YES YES YES" Sanchez stare. Huerta's eyes could have burned a hole in Clay Guida's soul.

That fight is still my favorite of all time.

Isn't it ironic how people hate Dana White for "tying fighters down" to the UFC, yet someone like Roger Huerta wants to expand and do more then just fighting and he gets criticized by the same people.

Huerta rules, ftw.

lmao @ people not liking huerta for doing something bigger than fighting than coming back. once again, not every fighter wants to just fight their whole life..deal with it.

props to him, should be a good fight.

Yes, that was the fight, not the specific moment though. The guy had freakin waves coming off him that I think altered the earth's magnetic poles.

I don't buy into the fear factor but I'm thoroughly convinced Guida was a little shaken up after that staredown. I mean he did get his ass handed to him in that round too sp whp knows?

When I saw that look it Roger's eyes (and the fact that he had gotten destroyed in the first 2 rounds) I realized he WAS a fighter through and through.

He may be over-hyped and not the most talented lightweight but that boy is a freakin' fighter and I'll always be happy to watch one of his fights (even if it's in another organization).
